To properly operate a pallet truck, begin by ensuring that the load is balanced and within the truck’s weight capacity, as this helps to prevent accidents and damage to both the truck and the goods being moved. Position the forks under the pallet, making sure they are fully inserted, and then engage the hydraulic lift by using the handle to pump up the load until it is clear of the ground.
